Accessibility

OBMC website has been designed to be as accessible as possible to people with disabilities. It is compatible with adaptive technologies including screen readers and text only web browsers.

Access keys are provided to use a keyboard shortcuts as an alternative form of navigation for users with limited physical capabilities. This will help them to navigate a website more easily. You can use :

For Internet Explorer

  1. ALT + 1 (press enter) to go to Home page
  2. ALT + 2 (press enter) to go to Menu
  3. ALT + 3 (press enter) to go to Contents
  4. ALT + 4 (press enter) to go to Footer links
  5. ALT + 5 (press enter) to go to Accessibility page

For Mozilla Firefox

  1. SHIFT + ALT + 1 to go to Home page
  2. SHIFT + ALT + 2 to go to Menu
  3. SHIFT + ALT + 3 to go to Contents
  4. SHIFT + ALT + 4 to go to Footer links
  5. SHIFT + ALT + 5 to go to Accessibility page

For Macintosh based systems

  1. CTRL + 1 (press enter) to go to Home page
  2. CTRL + 2 (press enter) to go to Menu
  3. CTRL + 3 (press enter) to go to Contents
  4. CTRL + 4 (press enter) to go to Footer links
  5. CTRL + 5 (press enter) to go to Accessibility page

Font sizes

You may change the font size to your preference using your browser:

  1. For Internet Explorer: Select View >>> Text size, and then your preferred size
  2. For Mozilla Firefox: Select Tools >>> Options >>> Content >>> Fonts  colors then your chosen size
  3. For Netscape: Select View >>> Text zoom, and then your preferred percentage size

Style sheets and Font colors

You may import your own style sheet into this website:

  1. For Internet Explorer: Select Tools >>> Internet options >>> Accessibility. Next click on any or all of three checkboxes to ignore colors, font styles or font sizes. In the same window you can change your style sheet by clicking the checkbox that says, 'format documents using my style sheet' then simply browse to your style sheet and click OK
  2. For Mozilla Firefox: Select Tools >>> Options >>> Content >>> Fonts  colors then your chosen font family
  3. For Netscape: Select Edit >>> Preferences >>> Appearance. You will then be given the choice to specify your own colors and fonts

Remove all color information

To navigate this site without color

  1. For Internet Explorer: select Tools >>> Internet options >> Accessibility >>> Ignore colors specified on Web pages
  2. For Mozilla Firefox: select Tools >>> Options >>> Content >>> Fonts  colors >>> colors >>> then uncheck "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
  3. For Netscape: select Edit >>> Preferences >>> Colors then chose "Use my chosen colors, ignoring the colors and background image specified"
