System Requirements
  • Windows XP - Updated Service Pack 3, Windows Vista or Windows 7 ,with latest service packs installed
  • Microsoft Excel (minimum Excel 2000)

Note : If the users who have already installed LPT and want to have access to the Data for Romania will need to uninstall LPT application only - by using Add/Remove Program.

Installation instructions
  • Download the setup package 'Setup.zip' here
  • Save the setup package on your harddisk in a temporary folder (e.g. C:\LPT Download\ )
  • Extract the file Setup.zip in your temporary folder (C:\LPT Download\)
    • Refer to the help of your operating system or zip-tool on how to extract a zip file
    • 2 files are extracted : 'setup.exe' and 'LPT Setup.msi'
  • Start the program 'setup.exe'.  Please take care : start 'setup.exe' not 'LPT Setup.msi', otherwise the installation will not succeed.
  • The setup will check if all prerequisites for LPT are installed on your pc (SQL Server, .Net Framework ...) and if needed additional files will be downloaded and installed.
  • A typical installation will first install or upgrade SQL Server. The download and installation of SQL Server ( free edition) will take some time, and you may receive the message to restart your PC.
  • If you receive security warnings or confirmation requests to install these prerequisites, please allow all installations ( messages are depening on your operating system)
  • Always follow the instructions on screen. Normally the only choice you have to make is where to install LPT for Windows. You can install with the default path
  • When the setup has finished, you can delete your temporary folder (C:\LPT Download\)
